Bali in August

It's weird how fast time flies, whether you’re ready or not next week is August. (Crazy right? Seems like we just celebrate the new year). If you already planned out your trip to Bali but still not sure when to go, maybe August (or now) is the best time to go! There are plenty of things to do in Bali during the month of August. • Sunrise trek to Mount Batur

As August is the driest month on the island, which means there’s not much rain, and the sky is clear. This makes it the perfect time to do trekking in Mount Batur, especially if you’re doing it during sunrise, it’s such an amazing experience to see sunrise on Mount Batur.

• Sanur Village Festival (19-23 August)

Sanur Village Festival will last a weeklong that is filled with plenty of arts, culture, food, water sports and all stuff that related with environmental-awareness events on Bali’s popular sunrise coast which is in Sanur. More information about this festival could be found here

• Bali Kite Festival (Peak season will be on July-August)

Bali Kite Festival is an annual festival that held every year from July through October that highlights Bali’s unique culture on kite, this festival always draws lots of visitors and since July and August is the peak season means thousands of visitors will come to Bali to check this out, you don’t want to miss it! • Tanah Lot Arts Festival (18-20 August)

The town of Tabanan, Bali is a home to the famous beautiful and magnificent Tanah Lot Temple that standing on an offshore island, right in northwestern of Denpasar that attracts thousands of tourists every year. • ANOC World Beach Game (5-12 August)

ANOC World Beach Games is a global multi-sport event created by ANOC. It’s the only global youth-centric festival of beach, water, and action sports, that was created specifically for the benefit of the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and their athletes.
