Healing Trends

First, Healing trends start during pandemic when most of the world shut down you can’t really go anywhere. This makes people feel isolated from the real world and in the end lots of people feel stressed about this. Hence why this “healing” trend started to rise. Basically “healing” starts popular because of social media, when people enjoying themselves by having connect with nature or just relaxing near beach, they call it “healing” because it supposed to “heal” them from the stressed caused from pandemic or work or life. This “healing” trends gives such a big advantage to Bali Tourism because even though during pandemic we have restriction, but the tourists who came here they still could enjoy the nature in beach, mountain, or rice terrace for less restriction and they could still relax and having a “wind down” from pandemic or stressful life. Not to mention, there are a lot of Wellness and Spa retreats in Bali that tourist could try on.

In Bali, health and wellness tourism is predicted to become of the central features of Bali’s tourism industry in the next few years. While Bali has become synonymous with wellness travel, there will be an even greater focus on medical, health, and wellness tourism in the next few years. According to Minister of Tourism and Creative Economies Sandiaga Uno is keen to promote Bali as a health tourism destination, he said “Bali is not only a tourism destination but also for health-based tourism, including for healing and mental health care.”
